Historic Beachside Getaway

Built in the 1800's by one of the founders of Cape May, the Freeholder Joseph MacKissic, the property is ideally located as it's a 5 minute walk to the beach and within town.  Each morning you can walk out the front steps to our neighbor, Beach Plum Bakery at West End Garage for a tasty coffee or breakfast treat, or take a 5 minute walk to the Washington Street Mall.  Whether you want to spend the day at the beach, hang out at Congress Hall, bike to the lighthouse to take in the views at the Point or walk across the street to Exit Zero, everything is within easy access without the need to drive. The MacKissic has undergone an extensive renovation of the kitchen and all spaces with beautiful new furniture, updates, and amenities.

Even if deciding to stay in for the night to use the grill or brand-new kitchen to cook in, numerous restaurants are within the block to enjoy. This location is a historic gem that captures the essence of Cape May as the nation's first beach resort community.
